"I came to Alex in the summer of 2007 as an absolute last resort following the ongoing failure of the NHS to solve my seemingly unending thrush infection. I had spent the best part of a year swallowing Canestan peccaries and undergoing countless examinations by hospital specialists, to no avail.
Alex and I spent some time talking about my medical history from birth onwards, and she then did some physical tests and identified that I had incredibly high levels of Candida in my body.
